ANNOUNCEMENT | Unleash your artistic talents and join in the DRRM Resiliency Poster Making Contest on 15 July 2024 (Monday) as part of the celebration of #NDRM2024. Let your creativity shine as we aim to inspire and educate others about disaster risk reduction and management. For inquiries, you may coordinate with CDRRMO at (02) 8403-2648 / 09985941743

REGISTRATION:

1. Must be a resident of City of San Pedro (MOV – Valid ID with San Pedro address);

2. Open to all 18-60 years old (Cray Pastel Category and Acrylic Art Paint Category);

3. All interested individuals must visit the 2nd Floor, Administration and Training Office, CDRRMO Building, Rizal St, Barangay Poblacion, City of San Pedro, Laguna for registration.

4. Bring the following: (Valid ID, Sample Art Drawn based on above mentioned category, 2×2 Picture)

5. Shortlisted entries per category will be announced in the official Facebook Pages of the City of San Pedro. (Limited slots only)

MECHANICS:

1. The CDRRMO will provide Illustration board and Pastel set (Cray Pastel) and Canvas (Acrylic Art Painting) for the on the spot poster making contest

2. The selected contestant will be having on the spot drawing with the given theme by the CDRRMO as part of the celebration of National Disaster Resilient Month (NDRM).

3. The participant will bring their own coloring or art material ( Acrylic Art Paint Category) for this activity.

4. All contestants will be given (3) Hours to create their own art expression. They will also prepare a brief explanation of his/her work.

5. All entries will be posted at CDRRMO San Pedro (FB Page) on 15-21 July for the Netizen Award/Popularity Appeal.

6. Winners of this contest will be displayed in the CDRRMO Building as part of the DRRM Gallery.

7. Announcement of winners will be on July 31, 2024.

Intellectual property ownership remains into the participants with the following exception:

1. The participants grant the CDRRMO the right to use, post or display the participant poster with or without further recompense or notification to the participant.

2. The participant maintains the right to display or exhibit the project for the publicity and promotional purposes on CDRRMO FB Page or any forms of IEC Campaign.

CRITERIA:

Relevance to the Theme – 50%

Creativity and Originality – 35%

Explanation and message conveyed by the poster – 5%

Popularity Appeal (Heart Reaction on Facebook) – 10%

Total 100%

PRIZES:

• Cray and Oil Pastel Category

Grand Winner – Php 5,000

1st Place – Php 4,000

2nd Place – Php 3,000

3rd Place – Php 2,000
