The City Government of San Pedro has once again proven its commitment to environmental sustainability after being awarded the Gold Award in the 2024 LGU Compliance Assessment for the Manila Bay Clean-Up, Rehabilitation, and Preservation Program. With an impressive score of 97.51%, this recognition highlights the city’s dedication to sustainable initiatives and its leadership in environmental conservation, truly embodying its principle of #UnaSaKalikasan.
The awarding ceremony took place last Monday, 02 December 2024, at the Aquamarine Conference Center in Lipa City, Batangas, where local government units were honored for their significant contributions to the rehabilitation and preservation of Manila Bay.
