ICYMI | The Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Project Angel Tree aims to bring joy to child laborers by granting their wishes through a network of patrons and supporters dedicated to combating child labor. Last Friday, July 19, 2024, a Gift-Giving Activity was held at the Governor’s Extension Office in Laguna, with the theme “Bawat Bata, Malaya: Mathiin ng Nagkakaisang Bansa”. The event brought together child labor beneficiaries from various parts of Laguna.
The San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, led by its President, Ms. Rosalina Burce, and the City Government of San Pedro participated in the activity and donated tokens to the Project’s beneficiaries.
