LOOK | Our City Mayor Art Joseph Francis Mercado expressed his gratitude through a short speech after the completion of the City of San Pedro’s SGLG Assessment earlier today, September 21, 2023, at the Atrium Hall. He thanked the departments, assessors, and the previous administration, with an assurance to continue to build for the sake of the San Pedrense.
The City, since its establishment, has been consistent in its unwavering dedication to good governance practices, improving the quality of public service, and sustainable development for its residents. As a testament to this, it has earned the Seal of Good Local Governance consecutively, and is now in recommendation to hopefully accept this year’s award.
The City Government of San Pedro extends its gratitude to the Department of the Interior and Local Government for assessing and reaffirming the performance of each department, and guiding them to continuously improve.
Congratulations to the City Government of San Pedro for their hard work, and may the results of this assessment serve as an inspiration and a source of pride for the entire community.
