” The City of San Pedro underwent the On-site Validation of the 2024 LGU Compliance Assessment on the Supreme Court Continuing Mandamus to Clean-up, Rehabilitate, Preserve, and Protect the Manila Bay. The assessment was conducted by the Regional Inter-agency Committee composed of the DILG, DENR, DOH, and DHSUD represented by their counterparts in the provincial level.
Hon. Art Mercado, together with the CENRO and CUDHO, presented the LGU’s initiatives in terms of Liquid Waste Management, Solid Waste Management, and Management of Informal Settlers. The validators also visited the relocation site, city plaza, elementary school, barangay MRS, sanitary landfill, sewage treatment plant, identified cleared areas, and main thoroughfares.”
