IN PHOTOS | With the implementation of Republic Act No. 11967, otherwise known as Ease of Paying Taxes (EOPT) Act, earlier today, 25 June 2024, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), in collaboration with Revenue-4A, Revenue District Office No. 057 – West Laguna, and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), conducted an informative seminar on Business Registration, Tax Compliance, and Ease of Paying Taxes for new business registrants at Pavilion Hall, San Pedro City Hall.
Key topics included the proper procedures, necessary documents, and the importance of business registration as mandated by Section 236 of the National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC), as amended (Revenue Regulation 7-2012). The seminar also provided a comprehensive discussion on essential tax payment information.
