Like other towns in the Philippines, the City of San Pedro boasts a monument of Dr. Jose Rizal in their public spaces. This is in recognition of his heroism that led to the birth of the Filipino nation. In the case of San Pedro, the monument of Dr. Rizal in the City’s Town Plaza is among the oldest monuments in the town.
