On June 13, 2023, the City Government of San Pedro signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Brgy. Cuyab, Cuyab Duck Farmers’ Association, and Samahan ng mga Mag-iitik ng Brgy. Cuyab.
The said agreement aims to continue sustaining the members of duck-raising organizations while in a temporary hold on the production of duck, balot, penoy, itlog na pula, and other related products to prevent the transmission of AI viruses.
