ICYMI | The City Government of San Pedro, through the City Agriculture’s Office, has successfully secured support from the national government to enhance urban agriculture in the city. This initiative provided ten (10) beneficiaries with training slots to promote sustainable farming in urban areas.
Last year, these beneficiaries participated in a specialized training program conducted by the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Office 4A at Bukid Amara in Lucban, Quezon. They also received an Urban Agriculture Kit, equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to apply their learning and further develop urban agriculture in San Pedro.
The City Government remains committed to providing opportunities and knowledge to its citizens, ensuring the continuous advancement of modern agricultural practices in the city.
