ICYMI | 5th Regional ManCom, Guests from LGU San Pedro City
DepEd CALABARZON top management officials conduct their 5th Regional Management Committee Meeting for CY 2024 led by Regional Director Atty. Alberto T. Escobarte at Mater Ecclesiae School in San Pedro City, May 23.
RD Escobarte presides the MANCOM Meeting, with Assistant Regional Director Loida N. Nidea, which focuses on End of School Year activities, the region’s ongoing programs and participation in upcoming national activities including the Palarong Pambansa, National Festival of Talents (NFOT) and National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) to be conducted in July.
Participants in the meeting are Schools Division Superintendents (SDS), Assistant Schools Division Superintendents (ASDS), and RO Functional Division (FD) Chiefs. The local chief executive officials of San Pedro City headed by Mayor Art Joseph Francis Mercado together with City Councilors Sheriliz Niña B. Almaro and Jamie R. Ambayec, express their full support as they grace the event with their presence.
The Schools Division of San Pedro City, headed by Schools Division Superintendent Rogelio F. Opulencia, supported by OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Phillip B. Gallendez, hosts the meeting held at Mater Ecclesia School which is represented by School Principal Sr. Imelda V. Bautista, DVMI.
Deped CALABARZON Region, composed of twenty-three Schools Division Offices (SDOs) located in the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon as well as in various cities found across the vast Region IV-A, has the most number of SDOs among the seventeen regions in the country.
