The City Government of San Pedro, in partnership with the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), the Philippine National Police (PNP) San Pedro, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (BADAC), officially launched the ๐’๐๐€๐ƒ๐€ (๐’๐š๐ง ๐๐ž๐๐ซ๐จ ๐€๐ ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ฎ๐  ๐€๐›๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž) ๐“๐„๐—๐“ ๐‡๐จ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ in observance of the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week 2024.

The initiative is part of the cityโ€™s commitment to engage the local community in the ongoing battle against illegal drugs, offering a platform for citizens to actively participate in reporting drug-related incidents. Additionally, it aims to support the rehabilitation and reintegration of Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs) back into society.

The ๐’๐๐€๐ƒ๐€ ๐“๐„๐—๐“ ๐‡๐จ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž, accessible at ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ–-๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ’, allows residents to confidentially report drug-related activities, including suspected drug dens, laboratories, drug pushers, and users within their neighborhoods. All reports submitted will undergo a 48-hour validation process before being acted upon by the authorities.

The CADAC assures the public that the identity and safety of individuals who report incidents will be safeguarded, in full compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
