28 April 2016, City of San Pedro – At the San Pedro Astrodome, Pacita, there was a series of activities participated in by the SPES.
Cathedral of Praise, Manila took part in the spiritual aspect of the activity. The participants sang worship songs and listened to the preachers.
The people from the Commission of Population through the Rural Health Unit staff promoted and discussed different issues about adolescence including unpleasant consequences of early pregnancy afterwards. The nurses also shared their own experiences on how they successfully guided their children.
PESO Manager, Mary Jane Banasihan-Corcuera, closed the event with an insightful message about how young people should don the right attitude. She said that attitude is the total taking up of the work wholeheartedly and without reservation, no matter how difficult or trivial the work may seem to be.
