Beauty pageants are turning out personalities in the limelight among personable young ladies. In San Pedro City, the Mutya ng San Pedro has been doing its search for four years, says Mr. Eduard Radam Bravo Valmores, pageant founder. He says he was lucky to have found staunch supporters in the persons of Former Mayor Calixto and City Mayor Lourdes S Cataquiz who have been backing it up throughout. Interestingly, MUTYA stands for Most Unprecedented Talent for Young Aspirants. The pageant, Mr. Valmores explains, advocates winning of young ladies who aspire for titles but who are not that affluent but are much qualified in beauty, bearing and the X- factor among others. In Maya’s case, both daughter and mother Haydee were willing and desirous to bag the title.
