City of San Pedro recognizes Day-Care teachers who served for more than 20 years.


“June is Day-Care Month,” says Ms Fatima Autor, City Social Welfare and Development Officer in the awarding ceremonies during the regular flag raising Monday, June 1, 2015 at the City Hall as she presented nine day care teachers having served in their posts from 21 to 28 years. The awardees are: Marilyn B. Alviar, Carolina F. Amor, Ofelia G. Chavez, Louie B. De Leon, Julita L. Emperador, Augustina B. Esmino, Charmaine E. Gaddie, Marisol P. Perez, Ma. Elirosa R. Tiguis. They will be recognized on June 11 by the Provincial Governor, Ramil Hernandez at the Sentrong Kultura ng Lalawigan at the Capitol Grounds in Sta Cruz, Laguna. These nine awardees are among the forty nine (49) who head the day-care centers all over the barangays of the City of San Pedro.

Ms Autor is very grateful for the support of Mayor Baby Cataquiz in all the undertakings of her department especially those that need quick responses.

She is likewise proud of her staff in the CSWDO who have their specific areas of focus corresponding to the many services/programs there are at the CSWDO among which are: Family and Community Welfare, Women’s, Child and Youth, Program for Persons with Disability, Senior Citizens, Emergency Assistance. When necessary, they stay up 24 hours and make themselves available under emergency/ extreme conditions of providing services to the people in need.
